“The guys did such a good job on installing the shade and they weren’t happy until the shade could come down without even touching the door knob. The shade looks so nice from the outside, too. It doesn’t detract from the beautiful leaded glass window inserts. Well…after I had that done last year, I had your company install the solar shades on the outside of my living room windows. I can totally tell the difference when I am in the living room with the ceiling fan on and when I go to the bedroom (without the solar shades) with the ceiling fan on. I looked at the comparison of my electric bill this year as opposed to last year and I saved 8 kwh per day over last year. There may have been some other factors, but I believe that the solar shades have saved me electricity and make me feel more comfortable being in the room that has them. Thanks…. “

“From the moment we made the appointment to get a quote, Rob at Solar Screens & More provided impeccable service and, honestly, did so with a smile. We were looking to put up solar screens to cut energy costs and protect our artificial turf. When Rob arrived (on time), he took the time to run through our options, show us the materials he would be using and even provided a little “experiment” to illustrate how effective his screens would be at cutting the heat in our south-facing home. By comparison, we had another company who came to quote; first he forgot the initial appointment, then he showed up late for our second appointment and, finally, his quote was slightly more expensive. “Because our home office was “under construction” it took a while before we were able to assess the benefits of the solar screens you installed for us. As I told you, the morning sun coming through the windows is brutal. During the winter the glare makes it almost impossible to work and during the summer the heat makes it hard on us and all our computer equipment. We were thinking of installing a room air conditioner which would involve knocking a hole in the wall to the garage.
Last week was very warm and we were amazed at how much heat is blocked just by the screens. They help tremendously and I’m sure it will make our summer work a lot more pleasant.
